Agency to back venture capital fund

Johannesburg - THE Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) last Friday gave a nod to a R100m venture capital fund, said executive for industrial sectors Pontsho Maruping. The move by the agency came when critics questioned if this was in line with its mandate. Tunis - The Executive Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group on Wednesday approved the institution's Information Technology Strategy 2013-2015 and the Bank Group's Participation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Transition Fund.
