AngloGold sees capex of $1.5 bln by 2013

JOHANNESBURG  - AngloGold Ashanti , the world's third-largest gold producer, said on Tuesday it expects capital expenditure to double to $1.5 billion dollars by 2013. The company said in a presentation on its website that it then saw capex falling back to 2011 levels by 2015 as some of its projects come on stream. Oil touches 3-month high, tops $95 a barrel

Crude oil futures rose 1.3% to the highest level since late July after a report showed a sharp increase in Libyan oil production last month. Crude for December delivery climbed $1.26 to settle at $95.52 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Crude hit an intra day high of $95.66 earlier in the session.
